Four-Letter Words

God speaks to me with four-letter words,
like "love" and "fear."
They say his word is a "double-edged sword,"
and its so weird

how when he speaks to me I'm cut in two.
I respond "expletive"
and people start to think that I'm so crude
but God's still interactive.

And even when he knows I ain't gonna learn,
God speaks in four-letters,
so specifically with those straightforward words
like "nail." He's so clever.
